Mandala — When Eco Meets Fair

Welcome Mandala! As some of you may have noticed, the first products of Mandala have arrived in our webshop. Whole Mandala collection will drop little by little to our selection during this spring and will be updated with new arrivals seasonally.
Mandala is a women-led company established in 2001 in Germany. They were the first company in Europe starting to produce yoga wear sustainably. Today, they stand for a conscious and positive lifestyle selling premium quality yoga wear, gym wear, dance wear, loungewear, and maternity activewear, all made fairly and sustainably. They believe stylish activewear is just as important as fair working conditions and an environmentally friendly production.

For Mandala, sustainability and ecological use of the resources of our planet are nothing exceptional, but a basic requirement. All their products are made out of special sustainable natural fibers or recycled fabrics. A conscious and respectful treatment of nature is always part of their manufacturing processes.
Mandala activewear is produced in Turkey and in their own textile factory in Shanghai, where fair pay, high regard and decent working conditions for their workers is the top priority. Mandala uses organic and natural materials such as GOTS-certified organic cotton, Tencel, made of sustainably grown eucalyptus trees, Modal made of beech trees grown sustainably in Europe and textiles made out of recycled plastic bottles. Their newest material addition is bio-based Polyamide made out of the renewable resource of the castor plant. The fabric is a sustainable and innovative alternative to conventional Polyester. The so-called vegetable oil-based fabric also impresses with its high-performance properties: 4-way stretch, quick dry and memory shape are only three of it. The patented fabric is water-saving and environmentally friendly material.
